It would be interesting to note that the mother side of these stud dogs were excellently pedigreed: BISA PH CH Mighty Star's dam was Norwegian Champion Hadleigh Maystar, direct from the OLD world famous Hadleigh kennels. Both Derronill's Dear Heart and PH Ch Derronill Billionaire had the same dam... Paddockwood Domino, who was the littermates of Sableways Huckleberry(top stud in England for a time siring Cruft Winner Eng Ch Sableways Silver Statesman and Eng Ch Sableways Silver Lining) and Paddockwood Pom Puss( bred to Maxamillion produced TOP #1 Pom in England Eng Ch Paddockwood Pretty Risky.) In search for more breeding stock, particularly breeding females, I acquired some females from, ESPERANZA Maria Holder(UK), JANESA Jerrie Freia(US), GREAT ELMS Ruth Beam(US), and majority of the stock of JANSHAR Sharon Hanson (who unknowingly would be the Number ONE Pomeranian Breeder in the USA for the past TEN(?)consecutive years.) Of her stock, the most significant impact to what CANTON is today are two littermate stud dogs namely Ph Ch Janshar Firefox of Canton and AM Ph GR Ch Janshar Harley Davidson, which I call Line 2(Line 2A and 2B) |

| Still in search for stock that would eventually produce what I wanted, I went to Japan in 1996 to look for my dream Pomeranian. | I have always tried to get something from the Tookeyes kennels which I thought was one of the best kennels in England at that time, and also one of the very few people om England who had access to the Hadleigh lines. Finally after my persistence, Ruth Keyes graciously allowed me to have some of her stock and eventually majority of her dogs which was based on Eng Ch Tookeyes Toyboy. | |||||||||
